Congressman Don Bacon has served Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District since 2017. Prior to his time in Congress, Don served nearly 30 years in the United States Air Force. Throughout his career, Don served 16 tours, 5 commands, and 4 deployments. He commanded the 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, and retired at the rank of Brigadier General. In Congress, Don has been ranked the most effective Republican in the House, particularly on national security issues. Don has been married to his favorite kind of bacon, Angie Bacon, for 40 years. They have 4 kids and 8 grandchildren. Don is honored to serve you in Congress.
