Omaha, Neb. – Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE-02) today welcomed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA-04) to Omaha for a fundraising breakfast in support of Bacon’s re-election campaign. Speaker Johnson also endorsed Rep. Bacon for his 2024 re-election.
“I sincerely appreciate Speaker Johnson making the time to visit our district and speak with Nebraskans about the importance of keeping a Republican majority in the House,” said Bacon. “Nebraskans are ready to do our part to again hold this seat, and I am thankful to have the Speaker’s support in that effort.”
“General Don Bacon is a common sense conservative and majority maker who we need to re-elect to Congress in 2024,” said Speaker Johnson. “It was an honor to join Congressman Bacon in Omaha and discuss issues Nebraskans care about like the need to stop inflation, secure our border, and strengthen America’s national security.”
Breakfast attendees enjoyed a Q&A session with Speaker Johnson and Rep. Bacon, hosted by Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE-01).
